Aryepiglottic lymphoma

Introduction

  • Cause: extranodal lymphoma.
  • Signs: dysphagia, noise at exercise (solitary). If part of multicentric disease, may present with any collection of clinical signs depending on affected locations.
  • Diagnosis: biopsy.
  • Treatment: if solitary, surgical excision, possibly with adjunctive radiotherapy.
  • Prognosis: if solitary, fair if complete excision is possible.

  • May present with acute dysphagia and/or upper respiratory tract noise or a more insidious onset.
