Aspiration pneumonia

Although aspiration pneumonia is an uncommon condition, it can be serious and even fatal if not diagnosed and treated promptly. Therefore, if your horse is coughing profusely or showing any other of the common clinical signs of the condition, you should call your veterinarian for advice immediately.
