- Endemic in parts of Europe, Asia, South America, North Africa.
- Clinical signs only seen in summer (warm/wet) months.
- Not reported in North America.
Significance
- Cause skin nodules that bleed, particularly when animal is in sunshine.
- Known as 'Summer bleeding'.
