  • Firocoxib.

  • A selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibiting (coxib) inhibiting non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID).

Chemical name

  • 3-(cyclopropylmethoxy)-4-(4-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl)5,5-dimethylfuranone.

  • 336.4

Physical properties

  • White crystalline compound.

Storage requirements

  • Store at room temperature, between 15°-30°C (59°-86°F ). Brief periods up to 40°C (104°F) are permitted.
