• This particular formulation of DOCP also contains the excipients chlorocresol 1 mg/ml, methylcellulose, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, polysorbate 60, sodium chloride and water for injection.

  It is essential to accurately diagnose primary canine adrenocortical insufficiency before administration.

With other drugs

• Should be used with caution when administering this drug concurrently with other drugs that may either affect serum sodium and potassium concentrations or the cellular transportation of sodium or potassium, eg digoxin, insulin, amphotericin B, potassium-depleting diuretics (furosemide, thiazides) or trimethoprim.
