Bacteriostatic antibiotics

  • The bactericidal activity of cephalosporins may be affected by the concomitant use of bacteriostatic agents, eg erythromycin Erythromycin , tetracycline Tetracycline.

Amphotericin and loop diuretics

Probenicid

  • Probenecid reduces the excretion of cephalosporins.
