Interactions

with other drugs

  • Primidone Primidone absorption may be inhibited by oral acetazolamide.
  • Acetazolamide alkalinizes urine, thus the excretion rate of weak bases may be decreased, but weak acids increased.
  • With corticosteroids may increase potassium loss causing hypokalemia Hypokalemia.
