Introduction

  • The following chemotherapy protocols for mast cell tumors will be covered:
    • Protocol 1: Vinblastine/prednisolone protocol.
    • Protocol 2: Alternating vinblastine/cyclophosphamide + prednisolone protocol.
    • Protocol 3: Alternating vinblastine/lomustine + prednisolone protocol.
    • Protocol 4: CCNU + prednisolone.
    • Protocol 5: Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI). 
    • Protocol 6: Chlorambucil + prednisolone. 

Protocols are not listed in order of preference or efficacy.Do not use without consulting specialist oncologist.Refer to chemotherapy safety administration Chemotherapy: safe handling.
