Introduction

• Very low incidence (0.3-0.4% of all neoplasms in bitch).
• Epithelial (rare), connective, placental (very rare).
• Signs: variable, dependent on tumor type.
• Diagnosis: imaging, histopathology.
• Treatment: ovariohysterectomy (OHE) Ovariohysterectomy.
• Prognosis: variable, dependent on tumor type and speed of surgical intervention.

• Involves body of uterus most frequently.
• May cause sclerosing and annular constriction of genital tract.
• Metastasis to internal iliac, sublumbar nodes or abdominal organs.

• Chorionic epithelium invades uterine muscle.
