Introduction

  • Cause: idiopathic.
  • Signs: scaling and crusting of the skin.
  • Familial in German short-haired pointer.
  • Diagnosis: breed, clinical signs, histopathology.
  • Treatment: anti-seborrheic baths, prednisolone.
  • Prognosis: incurable.

  • Idiopathic.
  • Unknown.

Timecourse

  • Persistent, may wax and wane.
