Introduction

  • Cause: idiopathic.
  • Signs: skin condition showing greasy plugs adhering to skin and hair of pinnal margin.
  • Diagnosis: clinical signs, histopathology.
  • Treatment: bathing of affected areas, surgery and ear cropping in severe cases.
  • Prognosis: lifelong condition.

Pathogenesis

Pathophysiology

  • Localized disease of keratinization.

  • Lifelong.
