Introduction

  • Retained cartilage cores (areas of delayed endochondral ossification) in distal ulna growth plate (osteochondrosis); sometimes abnormal ossification of distal radius (osteochondrosis dissecans) or radial carpal bone (osteochondrosis).
  • Sign: asymptomatic or retarded ulna growth rate and growth deformity.
  • Diagnosis: radiography.
  • Treatment and prognosis as for osteochondrosis Osteochondrosis.
