Introduction

General information

  • Originates in North Wales from the now extinct Old English (or Coarse-haired) Black-and-Tan Terrier.
  • Used for hunting vermin.
  • Not difficult to train, although can be stubborn.
  • Intelligent dog, requires both mental and good physical exercise. Can be a handful for the inexperienced.
