Introduction

General information

  • Originated in Britain for use in sheep herding.
  • Retains a lot of its guarding and herding instincts, is easily obedience trained and good with children and other dogs.
  • Size makes it suitable to the urban environment, and colder climates.
  • Long harsh coat requires very regular grooming.
  • Tendency to be nervous and wary of strangers.
