Introduction

General information

  • An ancient breed originated in Germany as a ratter and guard dog. Both giant and miniature Schnauzer evolved from this original breed.
  • Easily obedience trained, it remains a good livestock and guard dog.
  • Although suitable to the urban environment, it does require a lot of exercise, and very regular grooming.
