Introduction

General information

  • Ancient breed originated in China with strong connections to the Buddhist religion. Was originally a companion dog to nobility and royalty.
  • Pugnacious as its name suggests, also independent and stubborn yet it is rarely aggressive and is very affectionate with its human family.
  • The short coat needs only occasional grooming.
