Introduction

General information

  • Originated in Great Britain for use as a sheep herder as the name suggests.
  • Good with children, suitable for the urban environment and a good guard dog, the breed does not like hot climates and hard shaggy coat requires regular daily grooming.
  • Requires a lot of exercise, and early training is necessary to control their boisterous nature and demands for affection.
  • Known as the Dulux dog, due the the use of the breed in advertising paint.
