Introduction

General information

  • Originated in France.
  • Known as the Little Lion Dog due to the cut of its coat for the show ring with a lionish mane and clipped very short over the hind quarters.
  • A robust and strong-willed dog, its size makes it a good choice for a companion in an urban environment.
  • Grooming requirements will depend on the type and length of clip, but regular clipping is recommended.
