Introduction

General information

  • Originated in France as a cross between small examples of the British Bulldog and the French Terriers, was used for ratting or as a companion by Parisians.
  • An opinionated breed, a good guard dog, and good with children and other dogs.
  • Requiring little grooming, it is suitable for the urban environment but not good in hotter climates.
