Introduction

General information

  • An ancient breed originating in Great Britain for use as a sheep herder.
  • Good with children and other dogs, but not easily obedience trained.
  • This breed is suitable for the urban environment and cold climates. Its long, shaggy coat will require regular grooming.
  • Friendly and exuberant by nature, they need an environment which is a consistent provider of physical and mental stimulation. The ideal owner would have an abundance of time and energy to spend with their dog.
