Séverine graduated from Bristol Veterinary School in 1994. She then worked for the PDSA before completing a Residency in Feline Medicine at the Dick Vet School in Edinburgh. She obtained her RCVS Diploma in Small Animal Medicine in 1999, followed by a PhD on feline haemoplasmas at Bristol University. She became a Lecturer at the university in 2002, then Professor of Feline Medicine in 2016. She became a Diplomatee of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2003. Séverine started work in the Feline Centre of Langford Vets in 2018. She is now Chief Medical Officer for the Linnaeus Group and is honorary Professor of Feline Medicine at Bristol. Séverine is also a recipient of the BSAVA Woodrow Award and Petplan Charitable Trust Research Award.
