Bio

Julie received her veterinary degree from the University of Liverpool, in 2011. She initially worked in companion animal general practice before undertaking a small animal rotating internship at the University of Liverpool from 2013-14. She completed her residency in small animal cardiology, also in Liverpool and in 2018 before remaining as a lecturer in cardiology. She achieved specialist status in 2021. She also completed the RCVS certificate in advanced veterinary practice, small animal medicine, in 2018. She currently works in private practice in Northern Ireland Veterinary Specialists.
