Bio

Irina graduated from Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany, in 2010, after which she completed her doctoral thesis in oncology. Following two years in general practice, she moved to the UK where she completed an internship in oncology at the VRCC (now Southfields) in 2014. Irina started a residency in small animal oncology at the University of Liverpool, becoming an ECVIM oncology diplomate and RCVS recognized specialist in 2017. After working as Clinician at Davies Veterinary Specialists for two years, she joined the RVC as Lecturer in Oncology in 2019 and became the Head of the Service the same year. She founded Oncology Camp Ltd. for residents, interns and interested first-opinion practitioners in 2018. She currently is a member of the ECVIM education committee and Member-at-large at ESVONC.
