Bio

Dr Ash Phipps graduated from the University of Melbourne, School of Veterinary Science, in 2011 and commenced rural mixed practice at Rochester Veterinary Practice in 2012.

In 2015, Ash completed Dairy Cattle Medicine Memberships by examination to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Sciences. At the end of 2016, he completed a three-year Dairy Cattle Medicine Residency with the University Melbourne which entailed completing a Masters in Veterinary Studies, a Masters in Veterinary Science (Clinical) and a Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Public Health (Emergency Animal Diseases).

Ash is now undertaking a fellowship program in Dairy Cattle Medicine and Management with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Sciences.

Professional interests include colostrum management, calf health and bovine obstetrics. Ash also owns a British White cattle stud.
