Bio
Neil graduated from Edinburgh, UK in 1999 and intercalated with a BSc in Veterinary Pathology in 1997. After graduating he started in mixed practice in Scotland but his interests lay with the farming industry. After completing his PhD he locumed in a wide range of practices in Edinburgh. His first role with the RVC was at the WRVC in Wales. He now works with the Welsh farming industry to eradicate BVD from Wales through Animal Health and Welfare Wales – Gwaredu BVD of which he is the Technical director. From 2014-2019 he served as an officer of the Welsh Branch of the BVA, first as Junior Vice President, then President and currently Senior Vice President.
