Bio
Mark graduated in 1994 from the University of Illinois in the US. After an internship at the Animal Medical Center, NY and a residency at UC Davis, he started working in private specialty practice. He then served on the faculty of the University of Illinois before going to Penn Vet in 2005. He earned his master of science in clinical epidemiology from Penn’s Perelman School of Medicine in 2015 and is a Diplomate of the ACVIM. In 2022 Mark was named Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences and Advanced Medicine (CSAM) and is a Professor in Cardiology. His main interests are in cardiology, cardiac examinations, echocardiograms, ECG, non-invasive and invasive surgeries.
