Luc graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Liège in 1980. He was in charge of neurology and neurosurgery at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Liège from 1987-1996. In 1993 he graduated from the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN), followed by the Doctor of Veterinary Sciences from the University of Liège (electrophysiological evaluation of spinal cord functions in dogs). Luc joined the Université Libre de Bruxelles as Professor of Anatomy of Domestic Animals in 1996 until 2020. He is now a member of the team at Vetlife Centre Veterinaire in Belgium.
Luc has authored hundreds of publications and international communications concerning neurological diseases in animals, and has had uninterrupted practice in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological problems in animals.
