Bio
Veronica graduated in 2006 with a PhD in Virology from the Royal Veterinary College in the UK. She spent 15 years as a research scientist leading global translational projects in the field of vaccines and diagnostics for some of the most infectious viral diseases! Amongst other positions, she has been Senior Virologist at MSD, COVID-19 Rapid Diagnostics Virologist (Seconded) for the NHS, Scientific Advisor to COVID-19 National Testing Programme (Seconded) for the Government, Global Project Leader (Veterinary Biologics R&D) at Eco Animal Health Ltd, External Lecturer in Virology and Animal Behaviour at the University of Surrey, and is currently Director of Commercial Development at Oxford Nanopore Techonologies.
