  1. Patchy, mixed lung pattern within which are definite solid nodular shadows.
  2. There is also a diffuse interstitial pattern which is an incidental finding due to old age.
  3. Perhaps a small amount of pleural fluid; loss of clarity of cardiac outline and retraction of ventral lung margins.
  4. Sternal deformity; pectus excavatum. Probable congenital deformity but may be acquired in severely dyspneic animals.
  5. High quality radiographs with minimal respiratory blur are needed to show these discrete nodules clearly - with blurred images they may appear ill-defined, mimicking pneumonic lesions.
  6. These were secondary to mammary tumors.
