Humerus: fracture midshaft – radiograph CrCd
Humerus: fracture midshaft - radiograph CrCd
- This is a craniocaudal view of the humerus.
- There is a midshaft femoral fracture with craniolateral displacement of the distal fragment and overriding of the bone.
- The fracture ends are sharp indicating a recent injury.
- An injury of this kind in the cat is most likely due to a HBC (hit by car/RTA) and full examination (including thoracic radiographs) are indicated to rule out additional trauma before the fracture is fixed.
