  • A shorthaired Persian.
  • Developed fairly recently, from outcrossing with Persians Persian longhair.
  • Championship status.
  • Usually slightly livelier than a Persian.
  • Dense coat requires regular grooming.

  • Medium to large.

Build

  • Cobby.

Hair quality

  • Dense, soft, medium-short hair standing out from the body.

Colors

  • White, black, blue, chocolate, lilac, red, cream, black tortie, blue-cream, chocolate tortie and lilac-cream.
  • Eyes copper, orange or deep gold except in black/silver tabby (green or hazel), tipped (green) and colorpointed (blue).

Patterns

  • Self, smoke, classic tabby, spotted tabby, mackerel tabby/silver tabby, shaded, tipped, bi- and tri-colored and colorpointed (Siamese pattern).
  • NB not all colors are accepted in all patterns.
