Description
Chemical name
- 1-ethyl-2pyrrolidinone homopolymer compound + iodine.
- 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidinone polymers, iodine complex.
Physical properties
- Solution.
- Water-soluble compounds of iodine with a suitable carrier such as polyvinylpyrrolidone.
- The amount of free iodine in these complexes is less, but a slow continuous release of iodine is produced and skin irritation is lessened.
