  1. Two parallel circumferential incisions are made proximally and distally through the preputial/penile epithelium and connected by a longitudinal incision.
  2. It is essential to avoid the large subcutaneous branches of the external judenal arteries/veins superficial to the tunica albuginea.
  3. In a case such as this, the distal incision is made at the level of the junction of the prepucial lamina on the free body of the penis, whilst the proximal incision is a variable distance towards the prepucial orifice determined by the amount of retraction required.
