  • Worldwide.

Significance

  • Normal flora isolated from tonsils and various mucous membranes of apparently healthy cattle, dogs, cats, pigs, horses and insects.
  • Together withArcanobacterium pyogenescauses 'summer mastitis' in cattle in Europe (Peptostreptococcus indolicus).
