Radiography: x-ray machine circuit – high voltage
Radiography: x-ray machine circuit - high voltage
- The high voltage circuit of the x-ray machine produces the large potential difference between the cathode (C) and anode (A) to accelerate.
- Thte auto transformer compensates for fluctuations in the national grid and allows a predetermined voltage to be delivered to the primary coil of the transformer.
- The step-up transformer increases the incoming voltage to the required kV.
