Interactions

With other drugs

  • May cause a drop in serum calcium Calcium levels. The concomitant use of calcium borogluconate infusions at parturition may be advisable.
  • Cephalosporins may potentiate the toxicity of the aminoglycosides and should not be used concurrently.
  • Do not administer systemically with loop diuretics, eg furosemide Furosemide or other potentially ototoxic treatments.
