Introduction

In the UK, Doxycycline is classified as category D (Prudence) by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

Name

  • Doxycycline.
At the time of publishing the authors know of only one licensed product containing doxycycline for use in UK cattle. The UK licensed product is only for use in pre-ruminant calves and is not licensed for use in adult cattle.
