  • Ivermectin is a mixture of ivermectin component H2B1a (5-O-demethyl-22,23-dihydroavermectin A1a; C48H74O14 = 875.1) and ivermectincomponent H2B1b (5-O-demethyl-25-de(1-methylpropyl)-25-(1-methylethyl)-22,23-dihydroavermectin A1a; C47H72O14 = 861.1).

Physical properties

  • Ivermectin is presented as a powder and is made up to a sterile non-aqueous solution. 
  • The formulations for cattle include: pour-on solutions and solution for injection.
  • Formulations are usually yellow or blue aqueous solutions.

  • <25°C.
  • Protect from direct light.
