Bio
Olin earned his certification in farriery from the North Texas Horseshoeing Institute, USA in 1970, and qualified from Washington State University with his DVM and PhD. He completed his equine surgical residency at Oklahoma State University. Olin’s research interests include equine hoof care, the science of equine locomotion and mechanics, and endurance sports medicine and pathology, and has published and reviewed various books on equine hoof care. Olin was inducted into the International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame in 2005.
