Avian Influenza Outbreak Alert
The UK has been free from highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) since March. However, yesterday (5th November 2024) HPAI H5N5 was confirmed in commercial poultry premises in Yorkshire. AI is a notifiable disease and must reported immediately.
